Chavez, Juana

Nicole Serrato was born and raised in the East Los Angeles neighborhood of El Sereno, CA. Pieces of the Puzzle is her first collection of poems written between the ages of 14 and 28 years old. She is a regular live performer in the L.A. poetry scene. She has performed at the Poetry Lounge, Vibrations, Flight School and many others. Nicole currently hosts The Eastside Poetry Open Mic in Montebello, Ca. She has featured at The Griot Cafe in Long Beach, Ca, and The Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York City.
