Pia Chaudhuri was born in London in 1981 to Indian immigrant parents. Her mother first identified Pia's ability to write at the tender age of four. At just eight, 60 of her short stories were featured in a BBC Education documentary. After rebelling against her mother's wishes to pursue a career in writing as a teenager, she finally succumbed to her innate desire to write more than a decade later. A Hungry God is Pia's first novel. Pia lives in Sydney and works as a Creative Director in marketing and advertising.
