Malak Afaneh is a fifteen year old tenth grader in Chicago, IL. She is a Muslim Arab American. She has lived in several states, including Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. She enjoys participating in a number of activities including writing, swimming, acting, and travelling. Malak has published two short stories Fabric of Hope and Nour's Friday Prayer with Greenbird Books.
