S Chatterjee is presently a member of faculty in the Operations Management area at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad. He is a Mechanical Engineer from BITS, Pilani, and obtained a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore and his Ph.D. from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He began his professional career with TELCO, Pune, where he worked for two years in the production and maintenance departments. Dr Chatterjee then worked with BHEL, Bhopal, for over 17 years.
