Charles Packard, Packard

Charles Packard studied Latin at Bowdoin College and Harvard University. After an eight-year tenure teaching Latin, he wrote several English textbooks, grades 3-12. Moving to Maine in 1987, he resumed the teaching of Latin. His translations of Caesar, Horace, and Erasmus have appeared in "The Classical Journal" and The Classical Outlook."
