A poet, writer, teacher and advocate, Sandy Chapin is the mother of five children and grandmother of seven. She and her late husband Harry Chapin co-wrote the #1 hit "Cats in the Cradle," which entered the Grammy Award Hall of Fame in 2010. Sandy is chair of the board of The Harry Chapin Foundation and has, in the past, been actively involved with the Huntington Arts Council. She has served on the New York State Nutrition Watch Committee, the New York State Food Council and the New York State and Suffolk County Martin Luther King Jr. Commissions. Entries is her first published book of poetry.
