Melinda Spiker Chambers is a teacher and author of three children's books. Fraidy Cat continues her lessons from nature series. We Are Whooo We Are and The Day the Snapdragons Snapped Back are very popular with the grade school set. Melinda is a graduate of West Virginia University and received her Master's Degree from Ohio State University. She is a native of Lewis County and lives in Romney, WV with her family. Melinda is also an award-winning columnist for the Hampshire Review and is active in her church and community.
