Author Layne Case is the owner of AMITY Publications. She wrote her first book, "Charlie," over 35 years ago. She has since publised this 3rd book in the series, with the intend on showing children that our differences should be celebrated. She has developed a fabulous literacy program called "Read Up! Write On! Literacy Rules!" where she teaches children what it takes to write and publish a children's book. Layne's goal is to promote literacy, and to make sure "no child is left behind."
