Cary, Lisa J.

Lisa J. Cary is Assistant Professor in Curriculum Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She received her Ph.D. in education, specifically in the areas of social studies/global studies in education and cultural studies in education (formerly curriculum studies), from the Ohio State University. In addition to the publication of numerous articles in professional journals, in 2004 she received the Early Career Award from the American Educational Research Association, Special Interest Group, Critical Issues in Curriculum and Cultural Studies.
