S. E. Cartwright, a 19th century author, is remembered for writing "The Eagle's Nest," a brightly written story of three country-bred children, how they built themselves a delightful playground refuge in a beach-tree on their father' farm, and how they fell in with Lewis Brand, unknown to their parents.
