Connie Carson-Romano is a retired Registered Nurse who spent the last few years of her career working as the House Supervisor at the Community Hospital. Using her knowledge of nursing and how a hospital works combined with the experience of a patient and patient advocate, she explains in simple everyday language how to navigate a hospital stay. Prior to working as a Registered Nurse, Connie spent more than 20 years working as a Paramedic. Her first book, The Other Side of the Gurney, recounts some of those experiences.
