Caronna, Frank

Frank Caronna grew up in Los Angeles and Orange County. He got his first ocean experience fishing for marlin and tuna with his father at age of 7. Fishing on the open seas and learning to spot marlin and other game fish from the tuna tower taught Frank a great deal about the ocean and its conditions. At the age of 11 he began his love for surfing. By the age of 14 he was competing in small amateur surf events and moved up to the NSSA(National Scholastic Surfing Association).
