Carlson, Lori

Lorie Marie Carlson's previous bilingual poetry collection, "Cool Salsa," was one of the most honored books of 1994. She also edited "American Eyes: New Asian-American Short Stories for Young Adults" (Holt).
Lori Carlson lives in New York City. Emily Lisker, who created the jacket for "Cool Salsa," is the illustrator of many picture books, including "Strudel, Strudel, Strudel," She lives in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
