Carle, George

Carle attended Aberdeen University where he studied medicine. He pursued a career in General Surgery and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Soon after this he spent a year in Boston, studying Surgical Nutrition. After working for a spell in Ophthalmology his career moved to General Practice. For many years he worked in a large English Practice near Doncaster before moving to the Isle of Coll.
