San Francisco based figure artist, Rene Carol Capone (b. September 22, 1978) is an American painter known for his depiction of the figure with whimsical and mysterious imagery, often used together. He also works with stories and myths. The figures in his work appear to be on a deeply personal quest for identity and their place in the world. Capone was born in Niskayuna, New York.
