Born in Springfield Missouri, Nora Hickman Caplan moved to Washington D.C. in the late 1940's. She married Leon S. Caplan in 1949. Nora has a daughter and a son and four grandchildren. Her lifelong passion for writing has resulted in an impressive collection of publications, including short stories in The Saturday Evening Post, Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine (including one televised episode) and features in the Washington Post newspaper.
