Michael Cannon, publications editor for the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT), teaches in El Paso ISD. Active in gifted education for many years, he has been a member of the TAGT executive board since 1995. Named Outstanding Teacher of the Humanities in Texas in 1992, Cannon has published articles on gifted education in a number of state and national journals and books.
