JERRY CANADA grew up in Long Island, New York, and attended SUNY Stony Brook, where he studied psychology and served as student body president. A two-time All-American in track, he still holds university records in multiple events. He earned his JD and graduated with honors from UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). A former prominent trial lawyer, second-degree black belt, high school track and field coach and passionate world traveler, Canada has been telling stories and working with kids all his life. He currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina; EXILE is his first novel.
