Caldwell, Howard

Originally from Kentucky, the author studied Spanish and French literature at Berea College. He is widely read in the arts and sciences, especially in areas such as astronomy, history, and novels. An avid traveler, he has visited many countries and spent two years in Asia. Upon leaving the air force, he continued his studies at the University of California, Berkeley where he earned an advanced degree in Chinese literature. While crafting this novel, he taught creative writing. He lives in southern California.
