G.A.Howkins has been a professional teacher of English in the UK secondary state sector for twenty-six years and is currently devoting himself to writing full-time, combined with taking an active interest in political, environmental and cultural issues close to his heart. He is working on a sequel to this novel, titled 'The Telemachon'.
