JULIE CAIRNS has been active in Golden Retrievers for 25 years. She competes with her dogs in conformation, obedience, hunting tests and field trials. She has been an obedience instructor for more than 15 years and is a charter member of the Humboldt Dog Obedience Group and a member of the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors. Julie is also a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America, and has been an officer in her local retriever field club since 1978.
