Virginia Buysse earned her doctoral degree in early intervention and early childhood special education from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is Senior Scientist at the FPG Child Development Institute and Research Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Buysse began her career as a preschool teacher.
