Edward Burnham has had a long and distinguished career as an actor, writer and director in theatre, films and television. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where he was awarded the Bancroft Medal for outstanding talent, and where he later taught. His directing credits include the first stage adaptation of Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood, in 1956. Now retired in the South of England with his wife Lucille, he has been able to spend the time he never had in writing, playing bridge, and making very drinkable homemade wine!
