Native of Cambridge, Ohio, Amanda Burke is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and has had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and abilities. These experiences motivated her to co-write Micadoo Blue. Vanessa Ware grew up in Newbury, Ohio surrounded by a menagerie of animals. She cannot remember a time when she didn't enjoy reading and writing. She is married, and spends her free time volunteering.
