Ting-Ting Chan-Burford, M.S.W., was a child of the Vietnam War, who came to America as a teen speaking no English. She became the first female in her family's history with more than a grammar school education, earning her Master's degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) from the University of Denver. She now enjoys a more peaceful life as a wife and mother in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and although she is still haunted by her childhood trauma, she has led a colorful and rich life.
