UK based indie author Pete Buckley, hails from the picturesque village of Lymm in the English county of Cheshire. His first novel, "The Colonel of Krasnoyarsk" introduces Yuri Medev to the world while his previous works were travel stories with an outdoors theme. His first book was inspired by a trip to New Zealand in '05 while hiking and travel take up time not spent helping to look after the kids. He also contributes to a number of outdoor and mountain related blogs both as a writer and photographer.
