Buchanan, Garner H.

Garner Buchanan was raised in Sitka, Alaska. He is a graduate of the University of Washington, and has taught in California and Germany. He married Melitta in Germany and came back to Alaska in 1961 to teach and raise his family. He built his own home in Anchorage on two acres of primeval land which he cleared enough for a home site After retiring from teaching, for several years he was a private college consultant whose work was known to many colleges throughout the country.
