I grew up in a small town in Indiana. My maternal grandparents lived in North Manchester, Indiana and I would spend time there now and again. I would often use my imagination to occupy my time. During Junior High I discovered the writings of Margret Weiss, Tracy Hickman and Stephen King. Weiss and Hickman would paint outlandish fantasy tales about dragons, wizards and elves and on the other side Stephen King would take me to a dark place where things went bump in the night.
