Bruce Cumings

Bruce Cumings is Norman and Edna Freehling Professor of International History and East Asian Political Economy, at the University of Chicago. He is the author of numerous books, including: KOREA'S PLACE IN THE SUN: A MODERN HISTORY (W.W. Norton, 1997); DIVIDED KOREA: UNITED FUTURE? (Foreign Policy Association, 1995); WAR AND TELEVISION (Verso, 1992); and THE ORIGINS OF THE KOREAN WAR (vol. 1, Princeton, 1981; vol. 2, Princeton, 1990).
