Ever since the age of nine, KoKo Brown has had a love for the written word. In the fourth grade, she published her own newspaper. Turning a tidy profit from the very first issue, the publication was put out of business by Koko's grade school principal, who didn't appreciate outside competition against the school's newspaper.
