Broome, Brenda A.

Brenda Broome, artist, writer, and poet, was born and grew up in Gainesville Georgia. Growing up poor in an achoholic family was very dufficult but only made her stronger with a determination to survive. Brenda was raised to be proud of her Cherokee heritage. She took a job at the local hospital and after school went to work in surgery and became a certified surgical technologist. She worked in surger for over 25 years. At the age of 21 Brenda became a missionary and minister. Later coming home due to health reasons and going back to work at the hospital. Later she changed her carreer entirely...
