Brock, Peter

Peter Brock is Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Toronto. He is the author of Freedom from Violence: Sectarian Pacifism from the Middle Ages to the Great War as well as many other books and articles on the history of pacifism. He was a conscientious objector during World War II
and later served as a volunteer in the Anglo-American Quaker Relief Mission in postwar Poland.
