Graduated from Arellano (Manila North) High School and the University of the Philippines (U.P.) with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BSBA), Major in Marketing; and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA); Percival Campoamor Cruz was a feature writer in the U.P. student newspapers, The Philippine Collegian and The Guilder. He won the top prize in the National One-Act Playwriting Contest, 1963 Andres Bonifacio Centennial, sponsored by the City of Manila for "Kalupitan ng Nakararami" ("Tyranny of the Majority"), the prelude to liberator Andres Bonifacio's assassination....
