Brierly, A. A.

Robert A. Pearce was born in Bishop, California. He is the fifth generation of his family to live in Bishop. He recieved his B.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Agricultrual Management, his M.S. is from Texas A&M in Range Science, and his Ph.D. is from Colorado State University in Rangeland Ecosystem Science. He has authored The Owens Valley Controversy and A.A. Brierly: The Untold Storry, and A Brother Lost, a tribute to Hugh B. Pearce.
