Phoenix was born in 1991 in Lawrenceville, GA. Before she was a year old, her father left the family, and she was raised solely by her mom. When Phoenix was very young, she became a Christian, but it would take many more years for the realization of that decision to be made whole. She moved fairly frequently as a child, but always stayed within the same county. Her mom remarried in 2011, and the pair live happily about an hour away from Phoenix.
