As a fan of literature and creative writing since the grade-school years, the draw towards writing was always strong for James. It was not until many years were spent married, raising a family, working as a Firefighter, and journeying in his family church that James finally began to express his desire to write. The thought that one day James would write an acclaimed work, a thesis to dismantle the idea of a literal Satan, was not entertained when the dream to write was first conceived.
