PIERRE-TH. BRAUNSCHWEIG earned a Ph.D. in history from the University of Bern and later served as an assistant to Hans Senn, the Chief of Staff of the Swiss Army. He is a member of the United States Strategic Institute in Washington DC, the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, and the National Intelligence Study Center in Washington. Secret Channel to Berlin was originally announced as a Front Street Press book in 2003, but was delayed. It is now being published by Casemate.
