B J Brandon is the pseudonym for the author of Dragon's Pride and Dragon's Prize. Born in the Texas Panhandle and raised in an old-fashioned traditional home with two sisters and younger brother she is the oldest and was always the inquisitive rebel, the only one to leave Texas and the safety of family to explore other cultures of places like Chicago, Phoenix, the White Mountains, and the New Mexico desert.
