Brame, Renae

Renae Brame's first book is based on her life experiences. She was a prison superintendent for a women's prison for over 12 years and heard many stories to add to her own. In addition to writing this book, she is a poet, songwriter, musician, stained-glass artist, and water color "amateur." She is currently Executive Director of Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry in Black Mountain, NC, an ecumenical crisis ministry. She is married to Rev. Jamie Brame and has two grown sons.
