David L. Bradley left the blue-collar world in his mid-forties to enroll in college and indulge his love for digging into the past. Nowadays, when not making documentary films about the American South or teaching kids how to make movies, he writes novels and screenplays set against her history. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, his two children, a dog, a cat, and a hundred squirrels. His hobbies are studiously avoiding hobbies and collecting wrinkles. He speaks fluent Southern, and he is a honors graduate of Vacation Bible School, having attended from 1966 until 1971.
