Bowley, James

James E. Bowley is Professor of Religious Studies, teaching Jewish and Early Christian studies at Millsaps College. He lives in Jackson Mississippi where he works and plays and tries to combine those as much as possible. He speaks frequently for community and religious groups throughout the country and thinks that mostly his job is a lot of fun. He is an editor for the official Dead Sea Scroll Concordance, author of Introduction to Hebrew Bible: A Guided Tour of Israel's Sacred Library, and Chalice's Living Traditions of the Bible: Scripture in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Practice.
