Borland, Elayne

After retiring in 1999 from 30 years of teaching high school politics, economics and U.S. history, I have spent the last 14 years of my life residing between two beach locations-one in Ocean City, Maryland and the other in St. Lucie West, Florida. During this time, I've had the opportunity to visit and explore most of the Caribbean Islands. Inspired by the beauty of these idyllic tropical beaches, I was moved to "put into words" what many of us see and experience at the beach, but also what few are able to articulate and describe.
