I discovered the Amish culture during a Cultural Anthropology class I took while attending college. This triggered a passion for the Amish people as well as their culture and beliefs. I then spent over three years researching the Amish Communities in both Lancaster County Pennsylvania and Holmes County Ohio before writing my novel The Loss of Innocence.
