William was an Executive Engineer for a major auto company. When he moved to Sedona in 2002, he began hiking the Sedona trails. On these hikes he took numerous photos, compiled GPS "tracks" of the trails and made comprehensive trail notes. William continues to hike the trails in Sedona and constantly updates trail information. David was a music professor and associate dean of the College of the Arts at a major midwestern university until he retired in 2003. After moving to Sedona, he began hiking with a local hiking group.
