About The Author A student of literature, psychology and music, Jim found a job in the electricity industry and has been wondering why ever since. So has the electricity industry. A terminal outage of power in the workplace 30 years later resulted in semi-retirement, and he now passes his time writing, worrying about those closest to him, and blowing his whistle at miscreants on the Ness Islands miniature railway in Inverness. He is suffered by his wife, humoured by his children, and organised by his seven-year old granddaughter.
