Bloom, Benjamin S.

Bloom is a Charles H. Swift Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago and a professor of education at Northwestern University. He has been a faculty member and researcher for over forty years. He is a founding member of the International Study of Educational Achievement and his research on human growth and learning was instrumental in creating the Headstart Program in the United States.
