Roy Blokker is the author of The Music of Dmitri Shostakovich: The Symphonies (with Robert Dearling), five compilations of poetry including Charles Sorley's Ghost and Banned in Boston, as well as numerous stories, articles, reviews and poems. He was born in the Netherlands but raised in the United States. He lives in Northwest Montana near Glacier Park with his wife and near his grandson, Xander. Amber Waves is his first novel.
