Michael N. Blewett was born into a famous Los Angeles sports family. He played baseball on tour in Japan, Korea and Okinawa with the 1955 USC Trojans, was a pitcher and infielder on the 1957 Canadian Champion Edmonton Eskimos, played third base on the 1958 NCAA College World Series Champion University of Southern California Trojan Team, and signed a bonus contract with the Baltimore Orioles. Married for 47 years, he returned to the University of Southern California to complete his studies for a B.S in Business Administration in 1984.
