Blanco, Juan Antonio

Juan Antonio Blanco Gil. Historian and political analyst. He was a university philosophy professor, a foreign policy analyst, and a diplomat for the Cuban government at the United Nations. In 1992 he resigned from his governmental positions and founded the Felix Varela Center in Cuba, an institution exclusively funded by international NGOs from the OXFAM family that he directed until moving to Ottawa in 1997.
