Adam Blain was born in London in 1970, the youngest of three brothers. Having studied law at Cambridge, Adam spent time working as a teacher in Lesotho, Southern Africa before returning to practice corporate law in London. Following diagnosis of a grade 4 glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumour in 2014, Adam wrote his first book, Pear Shaped.
